The early results from the November 6th Election are in and it looks pretty certain that we WON! Now that the election is behind us I want to thank the voters, my volunteers, my supporters and my opponent. The voters have spoken and they have said they want to control the future of the city and the impact of growth. They said that smart investments made in our community today will pay dividends in the future for all of us to benefit from. It is also clear that the voters want to see well staffed and equipped fire and police emergency services here in the city. This was my message in my campaign, and these are needs that I intend to address while on the council. Thanks again to all of the people who helped me during this campaign. Big thanks, to my friends and family for working tirelessly to make sure that every voter in the city had a chance to hear my message. Thanks to the Lynnwood Firefighters for their endorsement and hard working volunteer efforts. Thanks to the environmental community for recognizing that we need to think globally and act locally. Finally, I want to express my many, many thanks to the voters of Lynnwood for hearing my message and trusting me to follow through on my promises. I will work everyday to make sure none of you are let down. ~Stephanie Wright
